Planned Parenthood - Huntington Center

The provider was absolutely amazing.unfortunately, everything else has not been. at the time, i was told that they could not get a hold of my insurance and advised that sending a bill to my residence to allow insurance processing was not possible. they told me to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed. so i did. it’s been almost 6 months, i have not been able to get the proper documents to be reimbursed by my insurance. MONTHS of getting put on hold and transferred to different people. being sent the wrong stuff on MyChart. no end in sight either, as the manager i was working with unexpectedly went on leave and now nobody is communicating with me.

The entire staff was extremely friendly, very professional and I felt that they wanted to make sure if I had any concerns, that they were able to help me. I couldnt recommend this location enough. Ana, Glenda and Yamilee are all incredibly kind women! Very happy to have met them and have their assistance.

This location is on the 3 floor of the building. Make a left when you exit the elevator and walk to the end of the hall.You must be buzzed in to be seen. At that time you will be asked a series of basic health questions like if you are fully vaccinated (not sure if this is a requirement to visit), if you feel sick or feverish and weather you have been in contact with someone who has had covid. After answering all questions you’ll be admitted.Waiting room is small and quiet. I visited around 3p so I guess it’s not a busy time. To make an appointment you can typically only book as far at 7-10 days in advance. This system makes it hard if you have a busy work life but you can ask about cancellations day of as well.Everything was spotless including the restroom. Staff were friendly, polite and caring. If you are seeking any services related to pregnancy testing you’re better off using an at home kit, it’ll be much cheaper. For annual checkups and sti concerns this is a great place to get checked out.

I love this location and all of the staff especially Anna, she is always very attentive and pays attention to your needs. I prefer to see them over my primary care because they treat you like a family. I highly recommend you using this facility.

Amazing staff, clean office, quick appointment time. The sonographer who brought me in was very nice and made me feel comfortable and the NP was also nice and made sure all of my questions were answered.

Staff was extremely nice and informative immediately. They made my nerves go away and I was attended quickly. Highly recommend this place if it’s your first time at PPH.

Went in here to set-up an appointment for lady things and was astounded at how friendly and sweet everyone is. Immediately felt comfortable and welcome, any and all questions I had were answered easily, and I did not feel judged or looked down upon for any of my questions. Highly recommend this location.

The incompetent employees of this PP location seem to either not realize or not care that they are dealing with people in an extremely fragile and vulnerable place in their lives. The receptionist was downright nasty, not to mention that I waited for 40 minutes to be told that I would not be seen until more than an hour after my appointment time. When I said that I could not wait that long because I would be late for work she snapped at me, threw my license and insurance card at me, and refused to give me back the paperwork with all my personal information on it, insisting she would shred it later. There was not one positive aspect of my visit, not to mention the fact that I was not even able to get my blood work done, which was the whole point. Please let this be a warning, the people at this location will NOT help you. Save yourself time and money and visit another doctor.

They were very receptive to my state of health and helped me tremendously despite difficulties that arose. All staff i interacted with were very friendly and made me feel comfortable.

First cancelled our appointment less than 24 hours in advance, then after rescheduling for the next week we arrived to find the office closed.Do not go here.
